A prolonged recession and overseas competition from manufacturers of cheap furniture lead many designers to compromise on quality and purchase inferior products for their projects. The goal of this video is to provide an inside look at the benefits of working with a company whose products are made in America.
With no script, and a limited budget, Preston Productions produced a compelling, firsthand look at the company featuring interviews with David Edward’s key players. The “mini doc” was shot over three days in their Baltimore, Maryland and Red Lion, Pennsylvania factories with only a two person crew. The benefits of “Made in America,” come through loud and clear as David Edward prepares for it’s 50th Anniversary.
